US-Bangla Airlines to run special flights to bring stranded Bangladeshis back from the United Arab Emirates
Priority will be extended to Bangladeshi nationals whose visas have already expired or are close to expiring.
US-Bangla Airlines has announced plans to assist Bangladeshi nationals stranded in the United Arab Emirates amid the ongoing Middle East crisis.
According to a press release, the airline will operate special flights on the Dhaka–Dubai–Dhaka route to ensure the safe return of affected passengers.
A special flight on Wednesday will depart Dhaka for Dubai at 7:20pm, with the return leg leaving Dubai at 12:20am (local time) for Dhaka.
Another special service is scheduled for Thursday (5 March), departing Dhaka at 5:15pm and returning from Dubai at 10:00pm (local time).
The flights will be operated using a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft to accommodate a large number of passengers requiring urgent travel. The flight numbers are BS-341 (Dhaka to Dubai) and BS-342 (Dubai to Dhaka).
Dubai Airport authorities have granted special permission to US-Bangla Airlines, along with other international carriers such as Emirates and Air India, to operate these humanitarian services in light of the prevailing situation.
Priority will be given to Bangladeshi nationals whose visas have expired or are close to expiring, helping ensure timely repatriation and relief for those facing uncertainty abroad.
