Iran Claims Missile Strike on US Base in Jordan: Media
The training camp is situated along the Gulf of Aqaba, close to the borders of Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said early Wednesday that it had launched a ballistic missile attack on a US base in Jordan, Iranian news outlet Tasnim reported.
In a statement cited by Tasnim, the IRGC said it had carried out an “intense ballistic missile attack” on the US Marine Corps base in Jordan, identified as Camp Titin.
The training camp is located along the Gulf of Aqaba, near Jordan’s borders with Israel and Saudi Arabia.
