Rectify Learn, an edtech startup launched by three students from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), has secured placement in four prestigious global startup programs: Microsoft for Startups, GitHub for Startups, Notion for Startups, and Miro for Startups—despite being in its early development stage.

The AI-driven platform—developed by COO Raiyan Bin Sarwar, CEO Ismail Ariyan, and CTO Al Hadi Elaf—tackles key learning obstacles through adaptive quizzes with AI tutoring, confidence-based flashcards, and active recall features. Currently in beta, the team plans to enhance the platform with gamified learning and real-time peer interaction.

As part of Microsoft for Startups’ Ideate tier, Rectify Learn has received \$1,000 in Azure credits, which it’s using to support its AI backend and hosting infrastructure. Additional perks include access to GitHub Enterprise, Microsoft 365, OpenAI tools, and mentorship, aimed at helping early-stage ventures build traction and move toward advanced tiers like Develop or Grow.

Through GitHub for Startups, the team benefits from secure private repositories, CI/CD automation, and enhanced collaboration tools. Notion for Startups has granted them three months of free access to its Business Plan, enabling AI-powered productivity tools, templates for operational planning, and integrations with Slack, GitHub, and Figma.

Miro for Startups has provided up to \$1,000 in credits, unlocking unlimited whiteboards, real-time collaboration features, and templates for product planning and strategy—key for virtual brainstorming and teamwork.

Sarwar notes the team is actively improving the platform based on user feedback, including adding social media login options. A flexible pay-as-you-go model (BDT 30–50 per use) and a premium subscription are also in development, alongside a credit card–free payment system to ensure broad accessibility.

The beta version of Rectify Learn went live in early May 2025. Its acceptance into Microsoft for Startups followed a five-to-seven-day evaluation, likely supported by Sarwar’s involvement as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador.
