Chief Adviser to Speak at Tokyo’s Soka University This Afternoon

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to deliver a speech this afternoon to a distinguished audience at Soka University in Tokyo. In honor of his significant contributions to social innovation and global development, the university will confer upon him an Honorary Doctorate Degree.

Concluding his four-day visit to Japan, Prof. Yunus will leave Tokyo for Singapore tomorrow morning on a Singapore Airlines flight, before heading back to Dhaka. He is expected to arrive home late at night the same day.

Prof. Yunus arrived in Tokyo on May 27 for the official visit.
