Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say they attacked two US vessels and eight oil tankers
Iran's Revolutionary Guards said Wednesday that they had targeted two US vessels, eight oil tankers and 10 other “non-compliant vessels” attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian state media.
The Guards said the vessels were targeted while trying to enter what Iran described as a “prohibited and unsafe zone” of the strategic waterway.
