5.9 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Dhaka, Other Parts of Country
A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck Dhaka and several other parts of the country this afternoon.
The tremor, which lasted for a few seconds, was felt around 5:14 pm.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter was located 14 kilometers east of Udalguri, India, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
