Hajj Registration for 2027 to Close on September 24
Registration for Hajj 2027 is currently underway in Bangladesh, with intending pilgrims required to complete the process by September 24, in line with the schedule set by the Saudi government.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged intending pilgrims, Hajj agencies, banks and other concerned stakeholders to complete the registration process within the stipulated deadline, stressing that the deadline will not be extended.
The ministry’s Hajj-2 branch issued a notification on September 9 regarding the matter.
Bangladesh has been allocated a quota of 78,500 pilgrims for Hajj 2027, while registration began on July 27. Once the registration process is completed, the final number of Bangladeshi pilgrims will be communicated to the Saudi authorities.
Necessary preparations will then be undertaken, including the remittance of funds, health examinations, visa processing, vaccination and Hajj training, to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey.
