Chief Adviser to Receive Honorary Doctorate from UKM on August 13

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the country’s national university, will award an honorary doctorate to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus during his visit to Malaysia on August 13.
“Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia will confer an honorary doctorate degree on the Honorable Chief Adviser,” said Shah Asif Rahman, Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a press briefing in Dhaka on Sunday.
Following the conferment ceremony, the Chief Adviser will deliver a commemorative lecture to UKM students.
On the same day, Professor Yunus will also pay a courtesy call on UKM Chancellor and Ruler of Negeri Sembilan Province, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
The Chief Adviser is set to arrive in Malaysia today for a three-day state visit.
