Army Chief meets Chief Adviser and provides a briefing on security measures for Eid
Dr. Muhammad Yunus commended the army's role and professionalism, offering essential guidance for its future operations.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Sunday at the State Guest House Jamuna, his official residence, and briefed him on the army's preparations to ensure nationwide security during Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, the discussion covered measures such as ensuring smooth traffic flow on major roads, securing launch terminals, train stations, and bus stands, and facilitating dialogue between industrial owners and workers. The army chief also informed the chief adviser about arrangements for iftar and prayer gatherings in all cantonments in honor of those injured in the July uprising, along with financial assistance initiatives by the Bangladesh Army for the families of wounded and fallen soldiers.
Additionally, he extended an early Eid greeting to the chief adviser.
In response, Dr. Yunus commended the army's role and professionalism, offering valuable guidance for its future operations. He expressed confidence that the army would continue to uphold national sovereignty and security with dedication and commitment.
