The UN expressed concern that such actions could harm global economic stability and disproportionately impact vulnerable nations, potentially hindering progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The UN Conference on Trade and Development also warned that escalating trade tensions threaten global growth, investment, and development, especially for the world's most fragile economies.
