The distribution of the monthly allowance for victims of the July uprising is expected to commence in March this year, according to Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy, Majumder stated, “The adviser of the concerned ministry has informed us that they expect to initiate the distribution of the monthly allowance to the families of July martyrs and the injured in March next year.”
Addressing the briefing on the outcomes of a recent meeting regarding support for the July uprising victims, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, confirmed that families of 834 July martyrs, whose names have been published in the gazette, will receive a one-time assistance of Taka 3 million.

Additionally, every martyr’s family will receive a monthly allowance of Taka 20,000. Capable members of these families will be given priority in government and semi-government job opportunities.
