Major Police Reshuffle: 53 Senior Officers Transferred, 104 Promoted

In a significant restructuring of the police administration, 53 senior officers have been transferred, while 104 others have been promoted.  

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued separate notifications on Wednesday and Thursday detailing these changes.  

According to the notifications released on Thursday, 53 officers, including Additional Deputy Inspectors General, Superintendents of Police (SPs), and Additional SPs, have been reassigned to various units within the police force.  

Additionally, two circulars issued on Wednesday announced the promotion of 104 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) to the rank of Additional SPs.
