BARD dismisses social media misinformation regarding its recruitment process

The Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) has refuted recent social media posts about its assistant director recruitment process, calling the claims “misleading.”

In a press release issued Wednesday, BARD clarified that it has not received any recommendations or instructions from any individual or authority regarding the recruitment of candidates.

“The recruitment process at BARD will be carried out with full transparency and impartiality,” the statement said.

It further noted that the recruitment for the assistant director position at BARD, Cumilla, is currently in progress. In line with a directive from the Ministry of Public Administration, a committee has been formed by the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division to supervise the process.
