Yunus arrives in Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit
Yunus and the UAE minister talk about areas of mutual interest, including potential collaboration in sports and culture.
Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus arrived in Dubai on Wednesday to attend the World Government Summit.
UAE Sports Minister Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi greeted Yunus upon his arrival, as reported in a message received in Dhaka on Thursday. Dr. Al Falasi expressed gratitude to Yunus for his participation in the summit and provided an overview of the prestigious event, which has been held annually in Dubai for the past decade.
The two also discussed matters of mutual interest, including the potential for collaboration in sports and culture between the two nations.
Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain, Bangladesh's Ambassador to the UAE Tareq Ahmed, and the UAE Ambassador in Dhaka, Abdulla Ali Khaseif AlHamoudi, were also present at the meeting.
