Body of former Army Chief Harun-ur-Rashid found at Chittagong Club
Police suspect that Harun-ur-Rashid may have passed away due to medical complications.

The body of former Army Chief M Harun-ur-Rashid was recovered from the guest house of Chittagong Club on Monday afternoon (August 4).
Police believe he may have died due to health-related complications.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Deputy Commissioner (South) Md Alamgir Hossain said Harun-ur-Rashid had arrived in Chattogram from Dhaka on Sunday afternoon. He checked into a VIP room at Chittagong Club around 4 PM.
Roughly an hour later, he left the club and returned around 10:45 PM.
He was scheduled to attend a program the next morning, but when he failed to emerge from his room by 10 AM, staff members grew concerned.
Eventually, club officials and employees broke a glass window at the rear of the room and entered, where they discovered him dead.
