August 8 to be observed as ‘New Bangladesh Day’
The government has officially designated August 8 as ‘New Bangladesh Day’.
The date will be observed annually as a ‘Category Kha’ day on the national and international calendar of observances.
All relevant ministries, departments, and agencies have been instructed to ensure its proper observance.
A circular was issued by the Cabinet Division today in this regard.
