Shameful Claims to Freedom Fighter Title: Responding to a journalist's query about false claims of being a freedom fighter, Faruk-e-Azam acknowledged that this is a matter of great concern. He termed it a “shameful matter,” revealing that over 2,700 cases are pending in court regarding individuals falsely claiming the title of freedom fighters. He assured that necessary steps have been taken to address these fraudulent claims and expressed hope that the cases would soon be resolved by the court.
Commemoration of Mujibnagar Day

Flag Hoisting and National Anthem: The day began with a solemn ceremony where Faruk-e-Azam hoisted the national flag at 5:43 am, followed by the national anthem. A guard of honour was also presented as part of the commemorative activities, underscoring the respect and significance of the occasion.
