SAFF Women’s Championship: Bangladesh dominates with a 7-1 victory over Bhutan in the first semi-final

Defending champions Bangladesh secured a commanding 7-1 victory over Bhutan in the first semi-final of the SAFF Women’s Championship at Dasharath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Sunday.

This decisive win advanced Bangladesh to the tournament final. Striker Tohura Khatun led the charge with a hat-trick, while Sabina Khatun added two goals. Ritu Porna Chakma and Masura Parvin each contributed a goal in the one-sided match. Bhutan’s Deki Lhazom scored a consolation goal.

Bangladesh will face either India or host Nepal in the final, scheduled for October 30 at the same venue.
