Dr. Yunus urges global investors to seize 'exceptional opportunities' in Bangladesh
The government is set to organize the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 next month.

Ahead of the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has invited global leaders, partners, and friends of Bangladesh to explore the country’s remarkable investment potential.
“There has never been a better time to discover the extraordinary investment opportunities in Bangladesh,” he stated, as the government prepares to host the summit next month. Dr. Yunus highlighted Bangladesh’s significant transformations and its progressive investment environment.
"We are dedicated to providing a level playing field for all investors," he assured in his message to the global investment community.
Dr. Yunus emphasized that the summit will offer data-driven insights for investors. "Come and experience Bangladesh’s potential firsthand. Join us in shaping the future of investment in one of the world's fastest-growing economies."
Expressing his anticipation, the Chief Adviser welcomed global partners and investors to the "new Bangladesh." The Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 will showcase the country’s evolving investment climate, primed for transformative investments and unprecedented growth.
The event will bring together global leaders, Fortune 500 executives, and industry pioneers to discuss Bangladesh’s role in redefining the future of investment in a dynamic global market.
Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, will hold a press briefing on Sunday, as announced by Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder on Friday.
Organized by BIDA, the summit will take place in Dhaka from April 7-10. A key highlight will be the Excellence in Investment Award, an initiative recognizing investors who drive Bangladesh’s economic growth. This award will honor enterprises excelling in investment scale, environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and job creation.
