Thousands of leaders and activists participated in the daylong march, which began at 9:00 AM from the BNP's central office in Nayapaltan. The march is set to conclude at the Akhaura border in Brahmanbaria. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inaugurated the event.

In a brief address, he stated, "India does not want Bangladesh to be governed by the will of its people."

From 7:00 AM, leaders and activists of the three organizations gathered at Nayapaltan to join the march, wearing colorful caps and carrying placards and posters. Prior to the march, a short rally was held.

The long march will travel through Narayanganj and Narsingdi, reaching the Akhaura border by evening. Along the way, a roadside rally will take place at the Bhairab intersection, where leaders from the three organizations will speak to the participants.

This march was organized as a protest against the attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala, the desecration of the national flag in Kolkata, and an alleged conspiracy to provoke communal unrest.

According to reports from Brahmanbaria, the march is expected to stop near the zero line of the Akhaura land port at 2:00 PM, where a rally will be held. Leaders of the Brahmanbaria District unit of Jubo Dal anticipate that 30,000 to 40,000 people will join the rally, and preparations for the event have already been completed.

Brahmanbaria District Superintendent of Police Jabedur Rahman and Lt Colonel A M Jaber Bin Jabbar, Captain of BGB-60 Battalion, held discussions with BNP leaders regarding the march.

In the meantime, traders at the land port reported that goods would be exported to India around midday. Authorities at the Akhaura International Immigration Checkpost confirmed that passengers holding passports from both countries would continue to cross during this time.
