The government announces 2025 Hajj packages, starting at Tk 4.79 lakh

Bangladeshi pilgrims will need to spend at least Tk 4.79 lakh to perform Hajj next year under government management, with an option for a second package priced at approximately Tk 5.75 lakh. Unlike previous years, there will be no special Hajj package under government management for 2025.

Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain announced these packages today at the Secretariat after the Hajj management executive committee gave its approval.

The Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh, representing private Hajj operators, will soon announce packages for pilgrims opting to go through private agencies. In 2025, a total of 127,198 Bangladeshi pilgrims will have the opportunity to perform Hajj, the same as in 2024.

The 2025 Hajj is tentatively set for June 5, depending on the moon sighting.
