ICT Chief Prosecutor writes to IGP regarding Interpol Red Notice for Hasina and others
Interpol Red Notices will soon be issued for the fugitive suspects, including Sheikh Hasina, involved in the July-August killings.

The Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), Advocate Md Tajul Islam, has written to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Moinul Islam, requesting steps to initiate a red notice through Interpol to bring back former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and other fugitives.
According to tribunal sources, the Chief Prosecutor sent this letter to the IGP on Tuesday.
On November 10, Law Adviser Prof. Asif Nazrul stated that red notices would soon be issued via Interpol for fugitives, including Sheikh Hasina, involved in the July-August killings. He emphasized that fugitive fascist elements would be located and brought to justice, no matter where they may be in the world. He assured that the government is committed to making every effort to ensure these individuals are returned to stand trial.
Prof. Nazrul also alleged that the Awami League filed unfounded complaints against the government with the International Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, in an attempt to damage the country's reputation.
Earlier, on October 17, a three-member ICT bench, led by Chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mazumdar, issued arrest warrants for 46 accused individuals, including Sheikh Hasina and former minister Obaidul Quader, in separate cases.
