Prof Yunus to be honoured with prestigious 'Harmony Award 2025' today

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to receive the prestigious 'Harmony Award 2025' from King Charles III today.
“Tomorrow (June 12) is a very important day,” Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told reporters during a briefing on Wednesday, noting that several meetings are also scheduled alongside the award ceremony.
In a major recognition of his global contributions, Prof Yunus has been selected by King Charles III for the 'King Charles III Harmony Award 2025', which honours his lifelong commitment to advancing peace, sustainability, and harmony between humanity and the environment.
The award is presented annually by The King’s Foundation—a UK-based charity established in 1990 by the then Prince of Wales—to individuals with exceptional achievements in sustainable development and humanitarian efforts.
