Army and Navy chiefs call on Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Eid-ul-Azha

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan met with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Accompanied by their spouses, the Army and Navy chiefs visited Prof Yunus at the state guest house Jamuna, where they exchanged Eid greetings, according to Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.

Earlier in the morning, Prof Yunus offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the National Eidgah at around 7:30 am. He prayed for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Bangladesh and its people.

Extending warm greetings to the people of Bangladesh and Muslims worldwide, Prof Yunus expressed hope that the holy occasion would bring well-being and inspire a renewed spirit of sacrifice among all.
