The main Eid congregation was held with the participation of the President and the Prime Minister

President Mohammad Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joined thousands of worshippers at the gathering. Members of the judiciary, cabinet ministers, and diplomats from various Muslim countries were also present.
The prayers were held in a peaceful and festive atmosphere, with tight security measures in place around the Eidgah.
Meanwhile, the first Eid congregation at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque was held earlier in the morning in a solemn yet festive environment. The prayers began at 7:00am, led by the mosque’s Senior Pesh Imam, Maulana Mizanur Rahman.
Prior to the prayer, he delivered a sermon (bayan), offering religious guidance to the congregation.
A total of five Eid congregations are scheduled at the national mosque. Following the first jamaat, the remaining four will be held at 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, and 10:45am respectively.
The second congregation will be led by Pesh Imam Mufti Muhibbullahil Baqi Nadvi, the third by Islamic Foundation Deputy Director Maulana Md Zakir Hossain, the fourth by Imam Training Academy instructor Maulana Zobayer Ahmed Al Azhari, and the fifth by Mufti Maulana Mohammad Abdullah of the Islamic Foundation.
Maulana Shahidul Islam, Assistant Librarian of the Islamic Foundation, has been kept on standby as a reserve imam for the congregations.
