Police release Shaon and Saba to their families following their detentions

Police have released actor, singer, and director Meher Afroz Shaon, along with actor and model Sohana Saba, into their families' custody after their detention.

According to bdnews24.com, the two were taken into custody by police detectives on Thursday night over allegations of involvement in conspiracies against the state.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police spokesman Mohammad Talebur Rahman confirmed their release around 5 PM on Friday but did not disclose the specific allegations or details of the interrogation.
