Saudi civil aviation authority says three wounded in attacks on southern airports

Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority said Tuesday that at least three people were injured in attacks on Jazan and Najran airports near the Yemen border a day earlier, as clashes with Yemen’s Houthis continue to escalate.

“The attacks resulted in three minor injuries and material damage,” the General Authority of Civil Aviation said in an online statement.

The Houthis said late Monday that their forces had targeted several sites in southern Saudi Arabia, including airports and military installations.
