Donald Trump denounces violence targeting minority communities in Bangladesh
"I firmly denounce the brutal attacks and looting targeting Hindus, Christians, and other minority groups who are being assaulted by mobs in Bangladesh, which is currently in a state of complete turmoil."

In a Diwali message, former U.S. President Donald Trump strongly condemned the violence against minorities in Bangladesh, while sharply criticizing the Biden-Harris administration. "I strongly denounce the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are being attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, now in total chaos," Trump posted on X, formerly Twitter. "This would never have happened on my watch," he stated.
Trump also criticized the Biden administration, saying, "Kamala and Joe have neglected Hindus worldwide and in America. They’ve been disastrous from Israel to Ukraine to our Southern Border, but we’ll Make America Strong Again and restore Peace through Strength."
He continued, "We will protect Hindu Americans from the radical left’s anti-religion agenda and defend your freedom. Under my leadership, we’ll strengthen our valuable partnership with India and my friend, Prime Minister Modi."
In a swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump added, "Kamala Harris will burden small businesses with more regulations and higher taxes. By contrast, I reduced taxes, cut regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy ever. We’ll do it again—bigger and better—and Make America Great Again."
He concluded with a Diwali greeting: "Happy Diwali to everyone. May the Festival of Lights bring the victory of good over evil!"
As the campaign nears its final phase, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump are competing closely in the seven key swing states that will likely determine the election outcome.
