"5 Killed in Faridpur Bus Collision"

Five people were killed and at least 15 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Faridpur early today. The identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed, according to Mohammed Salauddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Karimpur Highway Police Station. Subhas Chandra Barai, station manager of Faridpur Fire Service and Civil Defence, stated that the accident occurred around 4:00 am when a Jhenidah-bound Green Paribahan bus collided with another bus.

Five victims died on the spot, and police retrieved their bodies, while the injured were taken to Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital.
