Bangladesh Army hosted an Iftar and dinner at Senamalancha in Dhaka Cantonment today to honor the injured students of the July-August Mass Upsurge.  

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman attended the event as the chief guest, as stated in an ISPR press release.  

During the gathering, the army chief exchanged greetings with the students and inquired about their health and well-being.  

The event was also attended by senior military officials, prominent civil society members, and directors of various government hospitals.  

As a gesture of goodwill and support, the Bangladesh Army presented Eid gifts to the injured students.  

Since the July Mass Uprising, a total of 4,215 individuals have received medical treatment at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMH) nationwide, with 989 successful surgeries conducted.  

Currently, 39 individuals remain under treatment at the CMH in Dhaka.
