The prime minister urged everyone to share the joy of Eid with all

Stating that the holy month of Ramadan has concluded after teaching the values of sacrifice, piety, and self-restraint, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on people to share the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr with everyone, inspired by the spirit of Ramadan.

“Let us be guided by the ideals of Ramadan and share the happiness of Eid with one another,” the prime minister said in a televised address this evening marking Eid-ul-Fitr.

The message was broadcast on state-owned Bangladesh Television.

Tarique Rahman noted that following a month of fasting, Eid-ul-Fitr has arrived carrying a message of universal unity, solidarity, compassion, and pure joy for the Muslim Ummah.

“May the joy of Eid reach every home, every family, and every individual,” he added.

Extending his greetings, the prime minister said, “On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I convey my warm wishes to the people of the country.”

He also offered heartfelt Eid Mubarak greetings to Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world.
