UAE Envoy, Tech Leaders Explore AI and Smart-City Cooperation in Bangladesh

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Bangladesh HE Abdulla Ali AlHmoudi met with technology leaders in Dhaka to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation in key technology sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI) and smart-city development.

The meeting brought together Martin Yates, Government Technology Advisor to the UAE Executive Leadership Team at Presight, and Major General (retd) Md Ashikuzzaman, ndc, afwc, psc, Group Director of Bangla Trac.

Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in cybersecurity, smart-city solutions, AI technologies and integrated data platforms. The participants also explored opportunities to develop joint solutions for urban security and traffic management systems.
