There have been accusations of question paper leaks during various stages of Public Service Commission (PSC) recruitment exams, leading to several arrests last year. Determined to prevent such incidents in the future, the PSC is planning to establish a dedicated printing press, according to PSC Chairman Mobasher Monem, who recently spoke to Prothom Alo.

Monem emphasized, "We are committed to leveraging technology to modernize and enhance the reliability of the PSC's activities. As part of this initiative, there are plans to build a modern press within the PSC office premises. I am confident that once implemented, it will effectively prevent question paper leaks from the press."

Highlighting another critical issue, Monem added, "When I joined, I noticed that all data and information from the 21st BCS to the 46th BCS were stored solely within the PSC. I found this highly risky. To enhance security, a decision has been made to store this information in multiple locations."

The PSC chairman also expressed his commitment to institutional transformation. "As someone deeply invested in innovation, I am determined to address the challenges and elevate the PSC to new heights. The commission members have been incredibly supportive in this endeavor," he said.

Monem further revealed that a four-member team has been formed to develop a five-year strategic plan. "This plan will outline the PSC's vision and set clear goals for achieving it. It will serve as the PSC's roadmap for the next five years, with annual reviews to monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments," he concluded.
