“Smritite Shurer Sarothi” honours the legacy of Shafin Ahmed and Hasan Abidur Reza Jewel.

“Smritite Shurer Sarothi” took place yesterday at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, celebrating the enduring legacy of renowned musicians Shafin Ahmed and Hasan Abidur Reza Jewel.
Jointly organised by the Singers' Association of Bangladesh, the Lyricists' Society of Bangladesh, and the Music Composers' Society of Bangladesh, the event brought together the artistes’ families alongside members of the country’s music community.
Hamin Ahmed, Foad Nasser Babu, Manam Ahmed, Partha Barua, Asif Iqbal, Golam Morshed, Shahidullah Faraji, Aftab Mahmud Khurshid, Ripon Khan, Shawkat Ali Emon, Hasan Mohibur Reza Rubel, Naimul Islam, Raisul Islam Rimon, Antora Rahman, and many others reminisced about their cherished moments with the two late musicians.
Hosted by Joy Shahriar, the programme featured heartfelt stories and notable career highlights of Shafin Ahmed and Hasan Abidur Reza Jewel, offering a warm and personal insight into their lives and contributions to Bangladeshi music. It concluded with prayers for the eternal peace of their souls.
