If elected, BNP will transform Bangladesh into a regional commercial hub: Khasru

BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury stated today that if the party is elected to power, it will transform Bangladesh into a commercial hub where both domestic and foreign investors can operate freely.
He made the remarks as the chief guest at the Sylhet Business Dialogue held at the Jalalabad Gas auditorium. The event was organized by Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, a member of the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council.
“If we assume power, we will create employment for one crore people within the first 18 months,” Khasru announced.
He emphasized that the information technology sector would receive top priority, with job opportunities in IT offered to youth with at least an SSC qualification. He also mentioned that steps would be taken to bring back skilled young IT professionals currently working abroad.
Highlighting the need for a clear separation between politics and business, Khasru said the BNP would focus on advancing trade and commerce from its very first day in office.
BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, former President Fazlul Haque, BNP Chairperson's Advisor M Abdul Malek, Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qaiyum Chowdhury, and Metropolitan BNP Acting President Rezaul Hasan Kayes Lodi also attended the event.
