CA commends India and Pakistan for reaching a ceasefire agreement

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their decision to implement an immediate ceasefire.

“I wholeheartedly commend Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of India and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan for agreeing to a ceasefire with immediate effect and committing to dialogue,” he said in a statement this evening.

The Chief Adviser also extended his sincere appreciation to U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Rubio for their successful mediation efforts.

“Bangladesh remains committed to supporting our two neighbouring countries in resolving their differences through diplomatic means,” he added.
