A writ petition has been submitted to the High Court seeking directives to pay Tk2 crore in compensation to each family of the 352 children who died from measles and its complications across the country.
Supreme Court lawyer Humayun Kabir Pallob filed the public interest litigation with the relevant branch of the High Court on Sunday.
The petition named the health secretary and other relevant authorities as respondents.
