The country is more secure in the hands of the youth
Stated the Jamaat Ameer
Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, voiced hope for the country's future yesterday, asserting that Bangladesh has become safer for the younger generation following the August 5 uprising that led to the ousting of the Hasina-led Awami League government.
Speaking at a rally in Birganj, Dinajpur, he emphasized the critical role of youth in shaping a just society, describing them as the torchbearers of the nation's progress. Shafiqur also shared his vision for a corruption-free Bangladesh, pledging to eradicate bribery and ensure equality for all citizens.
In a separate gathering in Nilphamari, he dismissed accusations that Jamaat-e-Islami had taken over Islamic banks and instead criticized the Awami League government for widespread corruption and poor governance.
