The Advertising Agencies Association of Bangladesh has formed a new committee

The Advertising Agencies Association of Bangladesh (AAAB) has announced its new seven-member executive committee, with Sanaul Arefin and Syed Ahsanul Apon elected as President and General Secretary, respectively.

The newly elected committee also includes Nazim Farhan Chowdhury as Vice President, Sarah Ali as Treasurer, MA Maruf as Joint General Secretary, and Meherun Nesa Islam and Dr. Muhammad Risalat Siddique as members.

This executive committee was unanimously approved during AAAB’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Banani.

The event was attended by veteran advertising professionals such as Geetiara Safya Chowdhury, Sara Zaker, Kazi Wahidul Alam, and Yusuf Hasan, along with nearly 60 leaders from both established and emerging advertising agencies.

The AGM was chaired by AAAB President Ramendu Majumdar and conducted by General Secretary Munir Ahmed Khan. The event began with a moment of silence to honor anti-discrimination martyrs and industry legends Ali Zaker and Reza Ali.

Founded in 1978, AAAB represents directors of established advertising agencies in Bangladesh that are involved in communication services across various media, including television, newspapers, digital platforms, and events.
