Awami League stages march in Ramna protesting cases and arrests
Leaders and activists of the ousted party raised slogans praising Sheikh Mujib and Sheikh Hasina while criticizing the interim government.

Over a hundred Awami League leaders and activists organized a procession on Monday to protest the mass arrests and murder charges filed against Sheikh Hasina and other party members.
The march started from the Institute of Engineers in Ramna and ended at the International Crimes Tribunal premises.
During the protest, participants chanted slogans praising Sheikh Mujib and Sheikh Hasina while condemning the interim government, labeling it as "illegal."
“We strongly oppose this illegal, unconstitutional government, its baseless complaints at unconstitutional tribunals, the filing of false cases against Sheikh Hasina, the cancellation of March 7 and National Mourning Day on August 15, and the removal of Bangabandhu's photo from Bangabhaban. We also denounce the mass arrests and cases against Awami League leaders and activists,” said Md Zahurul Islam, a member of the Awami League's central sub-committee.
He further warned, “We demand an immediate reversal of these unlawful decisions. The people of Bangladesh will not accept your actions.”
