Yunus directs the commercial launch of Starlink internet within 90 days

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has instructed the commercial launch of Starlink's satellite broadband internet service in Bangladesh within 90 days.
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, shared this information in a statement on Tuesday. He further stated that while Starlink utilized a foreign satellite broadband gateway during its trial broadcast, the company will comply with the Non-Geostationary Orbit (NGSO) policy and use a local broadband gateway or International Internet Gateway (IIG) for commercial operations in Bangladesh.

During the discussion, Musk emphasized that leveraging technologies like Starlink could enhance innovation, economic empowerment, and financial inclusion in Bangladesh.
