A total of 24 political parties have submitted their opinions on the draft of the July Charter to the National Consensus Commission after reviewing it.

The draft had earlier been revised and resent on the night of August 16, after the initial version sent to the parties was found to contain errors. On August 20, the commission extended the deadline for feedback until August 22 at 3 pm.

By the deadline, the 24 parties that submitted their opinions included: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, National Citizen Party (NCP), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Khilafat Majlis, Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party, Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM), Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), Bangladesh Biplobi Workers Party, Jatiyatabadi Somomona Jote, 12-Party Alliance, Aam Janta Dal, Gano Forum, Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD), Jatiya Gano Front, Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (Marxist), Gano Sanghati Andolan, Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Bangladesh JSD), Bangladesh Labor Party, Zaker Party, Bhashani Janshakti Party, Bangladesh Nezami Islam Party, and the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB).

According to commission sources, seven political parties have not yet submitted their feedback. The commission also made it clear that the deadline for opinions on the final draft of the July Charter will not be extended.

The parties that have yet to provide their views are: Nagorik Oikya, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Gano Odhikar Parishad, Rastra Sangskar Andolon, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh, and Islami Oikya Jote.
