Sufiur Rahman Named Special Assistant to Chief Adviser
To hold rank and status of state minister

The Cabinet Division has announced that Mohammad Sufiur Rahman has been appointed as the special assistant to the chief adviser of the interim government.
An official notification stated that he will hold the rank and status of a state minister. In line with the Rules of Business, 1996, he has been delegated executive authority over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the adviser in discharging duties.
In this capacity, Sufiur Rahman will be entitled to the salary, allowances, and all other benefits accorded to a state minister.
