Shahjalal Airport restricts number of companions to reduce congestion

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has announced new restrictions to curb crowding and enhance security by limiting the number of companions per passenger.
Effective from Sunday, July 27, each passenger will be allowed a maximum of two companions at the Departure Driveway and Arrival Canopy areas, according to a statement issued by the airport authority.
The move aims to “ensure smooth passenger flow, reduce traffic congestion, and bolster overall security,” the statement added.
Passengers and their companions are requested to adhere to the new rule to help maintain a secure and orderly airport environment.
