Security sources report that 155 hostages have been freed and 27 militants killed in a train siege in Pakistan.
Pakistan security sources reported on Wednesday that they had rescued 155 hostages out of approximately 450 passengers and killed 27 militants as a train siege in the restive Balochistan province extended into its second day.
"Security forces have successfully rescued 155 passengers... 27 terrorists have been neutralized," a security source stated, noting that the operation was still "ongoing."
