Security Adviser Ready to Exercise Rights as Bangladeshi Citizen

National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman today affirmed his readiness to fully exercise his rights as a Bangladeshi citizen, responding to recent claims by a BNP leader alleging that he holds foreign citizenship. Addressing the allegation, Dr. Rahman told BSS that the responsibility to prove such a claim lies with the accuser and, if required, it should be established in a court of law. "I remain prepared to exercise my rights as a Bangladeshi citizen to the fullest extent," he stated. The allegation was made recently by BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed.
