Identities of Four Deceased Confirmed

  • Ebadul Bepari (42) – Resident of Kanargaon, Naria Upazila, Shariatpur.
  • Chhaleman (41) – From Ali Beparikandi, Charchanda Haji Chaber, Shibchar Upazila, Madaripur.
  • Salauddin Madbar (30) – From Kutubpur Hachen Madbarkandi.
  • Sek Pannu (42) – Resident of Thengamari, Sadarpur Upazila, Faridpur.
• The identities of the remaining two deceased are yet to be determined.

Burial and Investigation Updates

• Two of the victims have been buried at Madaripur Municipal Cemetery, while three bodies have been handed over to their families.
• One body remains at the Shariatpur Sadar Hospital morgue.
• The incident occurred on February 28 along the Kirtinasha River in the Tentulia area of Domsar Union, Shariatpur Sadar, and Bidyabagish, Madaripur Sadar.

• The mob lynching happened as locals confronted the suspected robbers attempting to flee.
• The clash left eight locals injured, while five members of the robbers' group were injured, and six died.
• Three bodies were recovered from the Kirtinasha River, two were found on its banks in the Tetulia area, and one died while receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
