Christensen, Millat discuss US support for Bangladesh’s aviation sector

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T Christensen congratulated Minister Millat on his recent appointment as Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

During a meeting, they discussed potential US support for Bangladesh’s growing civil aviation and tourism sectors, including the role of Boeing aircraft and US airport security technologies, according to a statement issued on Wednesday, 16 September.

The talks centred on strengthening the country’s aviation sector, which plays an important role in the economy by enhancing air connectivity, supporting tourism and generating related economic activities.
