CA To Join Consensus Commission Meeting With Political Parties This Evening

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will attend a meeting of the National Consensus Commission with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy this evening to discuss overall preparations and related matters ahead of the July National Charter signing ceremony.

Earlier in the afternoon, a meeting of the Commission was held at the State Guest House Jamuna with Commission Chairman and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus presiding, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.

Commission Vice-President Professor Ali Riaz, members Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Safar Raj Hossain, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, and Dr Md Aiyub Mia, along with Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Monir Haidar, attended the meeting.

National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman and Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser M Siraz Uddin Miah were also present.

The signing ceremony of the July National Charter 2025 is scheduled to take place on October 17 at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital.
