Shafiqul says the next 5–6 days will be critical in shaping the nation’s political future
He says the election will be held on schedule, with no delay beyond the timeline previously announced by Prof Yunus.
Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, has stated that the 13th parliamentary election will be held on time, stressing that the coming five to six days will be critical in shaping the country’s political direction.
“One thing is certain — the national election will proceed without delay. It will not be postponed even by a single day beyond the timeline announced earlier by Prof Yunus,” he said while speaking at a programme in Dhaka on Thursday.
